We went hunting for adventure on the little plot of land we live on.  There are a couple areas like this that are used for night training - we used this one for a picnic/  :)

Lucky skunk!  He had to go to Germany for a med class and traveled through this town in Switzerland

Whats a girl gotta do to get an off base date with her husband here?!  Have another ablation!  This time it was successful!!!

So close, yet so.far.away!

I was able to have the procedure in the morning and come back in the evening.  SO releived to not spend another night at the hospital!

This precious woman accompanied me to the hospital yesterday morning, as my husband had too many patients to reschedule.  My sweet friend India leapt at the chance to watch the boys so Hatice could go with me. She sat in the room and waited during the 2 + hour procedure, asking the nurses and doc often how I was doing, cried when I left, cried when I came back and held my hand as I laid in the bed in pain as the Cardiologist leaned all his weight down on my femoral artery incisions to get them to stop bleeding (took 40 stinking minutes! OUCH!)
Today she cleaned my house and fed my boys lunch and got them down for nap time when I went to the clinic for an EKG. When I got back she shooed me upstairs to take a nap while she finished the house, and after we fixed dinner together. Chicken Tava!
I sure do love you, Hatice. Thank you for being a sweet taste of the loving Turkish culture to our family!
